May 9th, 2012 (PHOENIX) – Activator® Methods International, developer of the only instrument adjusting technique and Activator Adjusting Instruments with clinical trials to support their efficacy, is pleased to announce that Dr. Arlan Fuhr will provide a lecture and workshop at the upcoming European Chiropractors' Union (ECU) Conference in Amsterdam, May 17th – 19th.
"The ECU represents 20 national chiropractic associations and pursues the interests of chiropractic through science and research," commented Dr. Fuhr, CEO and Co-Founder of Activator Methods International, and recipient of the prestigious World Federation of Chiropractic's Honour Award. "Science and research form the basis of our every approach at Activator Methods, and I look forward to sharing our technique, instruments, and studies with the ECU membership."
The Activator Method worldwide is the most widely used low-force chiropractic technique in the world. With more than 45 years of empirical study and over 25 years of clinical research to support it, the Activator Method requires the use of the Activator Adjusting Instrument to deliver consistent, low-force, high-speed chiropractic adjustments.
The European Chiropractors' Union was formed in 1932 between Great Britain, Belgium, Sweden and Switzerland as a way to pursue the science of the profession though research, teaching publications and legal activities. Each year the ECU holds an international convention as part of their tradition, and as a vehicle for introducing new findings to the field through this highly anticipated scientific event.
On Friday, May 18th, Dr. Fuhr will be teaching a workshop entitled, "Activator Methods-A Clinical Introduction to the Basic Scan Protocol." The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the doctor to the methodology of AMCT, which includes chiropractic theory, analysis and basic adjusting methodology.
On Saturday, May 19th, Dr. Fuhr will present, "Spinal Care for the Elderly-Is Activator Method a Preferable Treatment Option?", a lecture based on the three demographic/ epidemiological studies, twenty-five case studies, and four clinical trials.
